Twelve Quebec organizations, including JAMEC, were honored at the award ceremony of the Grands Prix québécois de la qualité, organized at the Salon sur les meilleures pratiques d’affaires. These awards recognize private companies/public organizations that stand out for the quality of their management and overall performance. Starting next year, they will be named Prix Performance Québec. This is intended to reflect the global trend and be in tune with other international recognition systems.

The Grands Prix québécois de la qualité is organized jointly by the Ministère de l’Économie, des Sciences et de l’Innovation (MESI) and the Mouvement québécois de la qualité. MESI is providing a total of $ 1.5 million over four years to the Mouvement québécois de la qualité. This sum supports the organization of the Salon sur les meilleures pratiques d’affaires and the Prix Performance Québec.

REGIONAL DISTINCTION

JAMEC received the REGIONAL DISTINCTION – INDEPENDENT MANUFACTURING SME CLASS during this evening. Delighted with this recognition, the company’s executives say they are much honored and thank their employees, customers and partners.

« We are very proud to have been able to participate in this event and to receive this distinction. This award goes mainly to our employees who, through their efforts, have been able to translate the high quality standards that we recommend, both inside our facilities and with our customers. Indeed, it is thanks to our dedicated team that our clientele continues to diversify in several sectors of activity. It is also thanks to them that we have been able to continually improve and thus meet the various challenges that have presented themselves to us in recent years, » says the management of JAMEC.
